We specialize in generator reconditioning, which is why we provide you with a reconditioned generator that's practically "like new". We'll provide you with a price quote, establish mutually agreed-upon terms, and arrange for payment.

The process of reconstructing a damaged AC/DC generator typically involves several key stages aimed at restoring its functionality and performance.

Here's a general overview of the reconstruction process in a few steps:

  1. Diagnosis and Disassembly: The first step is a thorough diagnosis to identify the source of the damage. Technicians conduct studies, tests, and inspections to determine what caused the generator to malfunction. They then proceed with disassembly to uncover components that require repair or replacement.
  2. Repair or Replacement of Damaged Components: Based on the diagnosis, technicians identify damaged components such as windings, bearings, brushes, insulation, etc. Depending on the extent of the damage, these components may be repaired or replaced with new, high-quality parts.
  3. Cleaning and Restoration: After repairing or replacing components, generators are thoroughly cleaned to remove any contaminants and residues. This helps restore the optimal efficiency of the generator's operation.
  4. Rewinding and Insulation: In the case of windings, technicians may perform a rewinding process, which involves winding new or repaired coils. During this stage, appropriate insulation techniques are applied to ensure the safety and durability of the windings.
  5. Testing and Verification: After reconstruction, generators undergo rigorous testing to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards. Tests cover aspects such as efficiency, rotational speed, voltage, current, and other parameters.
  6. Quality Control and Delivery: Upon completing the entire process, generators undergo quality control to ensure they are ready for delivery to the customer. They are then delivered according to the agreed-upon terms.

It's worth noting that the reconstruction process may vary depending on the type of damage, generator type, and other factors. Technicians specializing in generator repairs aim to ensure that the generator operates in accordance with performance and safety standards.
